As Glass artist Allister Malcolm cannot fully open the doors to the studio for visitors due to the Coronavirus we thought it would be good to show some of the action in the Glass Studio from last month. An exciting project which we share captured footage of glassblowing and developing the Glass Slipper. You can see how it developed and his thoughts as he worked on refining the final piece. From making and manipulating the hot glass to cutting and refining the slipper and then creating a royal cushion to create a large sculpture.

STUDIO TOUR MAY 2020
As people can’t get out to visit the studio at the moment due to the Coronavirus we thought it would be good to give a tour and show what is going on in studio at the moment and share some recent footage of some glassblowing action. There’s some interesting footage (in reverse) of some fun glassblowing action too with Allister Malcolm’s children getting involved in the action with the molten glass.
